Humans should optimize for kindness as our lives are ephemeral
Africa's Tech Industry must be led by Africans. In a recent statement, Adebayo Alonge emphasized the need for Africans and Nigerians to secure their own interests in their burgeoning tech industry as they are often not given space in other countries as they give others in their own country.
We must revamp our global societal value system from valuing human life based on wealth. Until we eliminate the conditions that account for Negroes (Africans) being 'commodified' for profit and the valuation of human life based on wealth, global negrophobia and devaluation of the negro life will not end.

The weakness of African countries is an existential crisis to the African race and its diaspora. It serves as signpost to legitimize racial oppression wherever Africans go. But increasingly as more new foreigners move into Africa in search of maintaining economic growth in their homelands, Africans will suffer to maintain their dignity in their own lands.
Poverty is the inability to have a long range view of the future. The intense focus on now, on survival, on making the next bill, the next meal, the next salary; the lack of time for taking in perspective to plan the future is what deep poverty looks like. In this regard our collective civilization is in a state of deep poverty although we lie to ourselves that we are rich using artificial criteria like money & GDP. The question to ask is this: is the wellbeing and happiness of mankind and the planet better than it was 500 years ago? We need impact thinkers to rise up to the challenge of creating a new paradigm for measuring human progress for the sake of the wellbeing of our planet and its inhabitants.
